Ancient Moods by Gobby scores the fable of a long lost cousin of Bat Boy, gliding from haven to haven in a dungeon-synth journey laced with horns and strings. This project yields from the producer’s time spent during 2020 stripped down to the tools within Gobby’s Bronx apartment. A desire to replace reality with fantasy, a pilgrimage from his last four album releases with UNO, Ancients Moods is a rebirth of Gobby’s sound.
